LITTLE KNOWN FACTS ABOUT CHARLIE CHAPLIN'S "THE CIRCUS" (1928).

The storyline within the film shows this. Chaplin’s tramp falls in adore with Merna, who returns his affection. Then, a tightrope walker named Rex (performed by Henry Bergman) will come onto the scene and Merna straight away falls in really like with him. Why? Since his act is daring and unsafe when Chaplin’s clown act has a lot less prestige.
